- To support one another as a Sangha community of renunciates and householders.
- To give witness to a Universal Buddhism - the one and the many are mutually inclusive
- To give witness to eco-environmental perspectives - creating harmony within nature
- To oppose abuse and violence against humanity, culture and nature, esp. as a solution to conflict
- To endorse, facilitate, and support educational, charitable, creative, and peacemaking endeavors
- To work towards creating peace and happiness for all sentient beings
